Four eyes, six eyes or eight eyes?

My visit to the optician last week has produced my new specs. Impressed at the speed despite the Easter break.

Today was the first use of the daily specs and so far so good. So I was able to read the various papers, draft documents, emails and proposals that were in my intray. And see my colleagues at meetings and one to ones.

The announcement of the general election has made us revisit our policies on our volunteers who wish to stand for elected office, both during the campaign and if elected. We have to ensure that conflict of interest - and perception of conflict of interest - are addressed.

Also had discussions about taking forward how we improve data collection to make sure we can understand how the system makes a positive difference for children and young people.
