This corner of Albert Dr and Shields Rd is almost opposite my flat and I pass it several times each day but I have never noticed the street sign - Knowe Terrace - which was being taken down this morning. It is a fine sign and (according to the workman) extremely heavy. The good news is that both this sign & the one round the corner are to be cleaned up and put back in place - a bit of history that won't be lost!
