Blossom

On the day I left Edinburgh for the Easter recess I noticed this cherry, which I see every morning on my way to the Parliament, was just beginning to flower.

Now it is in its full spring glory and it is irresistible as are the ones outside the Canongate Kirk in the Royal Mile which I passed this evening., taking a different way back to my flat.
