Today's the day ........................... to dine out

It's my birthday today - and I've had a lovely day spent with the family in Moniaive.

We went out for a celebratory meal to the Italian bistro in the village where they serve delicious food at reasonable prices - and actively welcome little ones to come too.  This is Tessa and her Mum catching up with a bit of reading while the meal was being prepared.

Then afterwards, the three of them walked back home while Will and I went to the local hostelry for an after-dinner drink to round up the day.  All in all, just the sort of birthday celebration that I love ...................
