FIGS & SHADOWS

Coming out of the Metro at Madou there's this prolific little fig tree that lives just up from the Hôtel de Ville - liked the shadows on these old buildings.

Oh dear - Cécile came in today to say, "Hello-goodbye"! She's been working with us for the last seven years. She's off to Thailand for three weeks & has promised to come & join us for a meal at the Izaka-Ya - wonderful Japanese restaurant when she gets back.

Cécile's a feisty 30 year-old who always gives better than she gets  - she's been a delight to work with. Without her Seville oranges I never would have got my Silver Award for marmalade this year.
