New window!

Not so exciting generally, but after all the fight to get them approved, today's fitting was more than just a small step for man, it was a huge leap, aided by kind men!

Well, they were kind until they pointed out that two windows didn't have lintels, so they couldn't fit the new ones. Honestly, it's one leap forward, several steps back! To make it worse, there's no scaffolding under one of them, so more may be required. My friend, the building's owner, was really quite annoyed and upset about it all, as the boss of the window guys had been round weeks ago and hadn't checked the lintels.

Anyway, hopefully the lintels can be put in over the next couple of days and the window fitting can continue.
