Top of the world

Went for a hearty stride up Berwick Law today.  A fine day for it, but more than a little brisk at the top: had to stop taking photographs when I could no longer feel my fingers.  Terrific views on such a crisp, bright day though.

After warming up with fish & chips, we wandered down to the beach at North Berwick, where the sinking sun was turning Bass Rock pink.  Never seen that before.

In the evening, we went to see Bedtime Stories, which was funny and charming, I thought.  Luckily, the kids liked it too.
