I didn't pick up the news about the snap UK General Election until nearly 7pm. Whatever next, we face several weeks of campaigning now.

The Big Yin lifted my spirits this evening. A very funny programme on STV. Friends and fans from around the world sharing anecdotes. Some very poignant moments.
