In My Woodland Garden - Omphalodes

This must be one of the oldest plants in the garden. I remember planting it soon after we moved here 35 years ago. It used to have variegated leaves but it has reverted to plain green but in the dark place it lives it needs all the chlorophyll it can get!

It sits well in my woodland garden as it quite resembles the forget-me-nots I've planted in this part. It flowers much sooner so extends the time I have blue flowers here.

I was later sorry that I had shooed away a pretty hairy little fly so I've used it in Extras.

EDIT: I'm finding it really difficult to differentiate between Omphalodes and Brunnera. Both are of the family Boraginaceae and very, very similar!
