I've been a very naughty girl

Sneaked this shot while E distracted the invigilator.
Couldn't resist breaking the stoopid rules and grabbing a  phone shot of this Amphora - isn'that a beautidul word too.
Two thousand year old  Greek or Roman hands formed this terracotta clay into this fantastic vessel. It was retrieved from the sea - hence its coat of barnacles... about two feet high... beyond words really
Why are British museums so stuffy about the use of non flash photography?
Not as if this artist is about to complain?
