Simplicity

A choice had to be made tonight.

Spend some time in the kitchen cooking an egg curry, or spend a bit less time on grilled chicken with steamed asparagus.

I'd bought the asparagus this morning, so I decided to make it at its freshest. It was really good.

So was the chicken - organic from a farm in nearby Perthshire.

An excellent dinner for one was one of the high spots of a difficult day. London is going to spend the next few weeks trying to obliterate what's left of democracy and civil society in the UK, and Scotland will be a prime target. It will get very nasty indeed.
