Visiting
A glorious run in the morning, then up to Edinburgh to visit more family. Aunt J had come down from Perth with Charlie to join the party which was a lovely unexpected surprise. GAS had obviously been slaving over a hot stove for quite a while as the lunch table groaned with plates and bowls of utterly delicious food. J and K were fab hosts as ever and the teens although they hardly ever get the chance to see one another all got on brilliantly as usual. J laid on an Easter Egg hunt in the garden after lunch which everyone enthusiastically took part in - except the dogs who'd have gobbled them all up in a flash and as poor Harry was already recovering from a bout of something which had made him very sorry for himself it really wouldn't have been a good idea to add chocolate poisoning to his problems.
Afterwards we said our reluctant farewells and headed back to the cottage to pack. But before we did W and I went for one last explore to Hailes Castle in the sunset. We'll be sad to say our goodbyes to here too.
