La Caleta de Velez

is the mid-coastal point of the Axarquia region of Andalucia. A pretty fishing town with superb beaches and this impressive marina it lies 30 kilometres east of Malaga.

Caleta is unique in having a village atmosphere with all amenities on hand. If your need is for something a bit livelier a short stroll along the attractive promenade, lined with palm trees and nesting green parrots, will take you to the neighbouring resort of Torre del Mar.
