Bog off Ma, I'm watching telly!

Have had a housework day, which had a lovely interlude of unexpected pop in visitor for a catch up. The Eldest made it to her class finals for the speech competition, which is fantastic. She's not known for being an out there kind of kid, usually a quiet, contained, well liked girl. I'm so proud of her for getting up in front of her class and doing this so well that she was one of 6/28 to get to that point. She was distraught when she came out of class, as she isn't one of the 3 to go to the Year 3/4 finals, but she came around once she realised what she had achieved.

We celebrated by meeting the Husband off the ferry, and going to the local pub for Happy Hour and stayed for tea there.
