I went out for a coffee with friends after losing the will to live with all the studying, and at the café requested a cup of black coffee. One friend requested a pot of black coffee. Both arrived in these pots, which just filled a cup. The cup of coffee was charged at £1.85, and the pot of coffee at £3.20.
