Elafonisi

The Elephant's Island... South West corner of Crete and it has a gorgeous beach ~  when living here the drive from Chania took over 2 hours across the small village roads, nowadays the 75 kms are crossed in almost half that time over the new ethnic highway. Then this beach was known only to the local Cretans, now it's know to all who come and visit Crete.
I took a dive today here into the luke warm Pelagos ~  lovely to be bathed in the clean and salty waters!
