Insect life seems to have found it's footing again around here. For most of Spring and Summer, there has been a dearth of butterflies and to some extent bees. Now they are back with a vengeance. There are wasps for the first time, finding their way indoors for the first time this year.

This year I have generally had to chase bees to get a photo, but today they were coming to me. I just stood there, with lens touching the flower and waited for the bee to come.

What wonderful weather - this is what we wanted during the summer. I'm hoping it remains like this for a another week.
