Having a good scratch.

This morning I went on a Dawn Chorus Walk in Richmond Park. This meant I had to set off on my bike at 4.20am, and cycle through the park to the Pen Ponds car park in the dark - quite spooky!
Sadly the weather was not great - really cold and drizzly at times - hardly ideal for photography. However, a good time was had by all.
This heron flew into a tree by the ponds and proceeded to have a very good scratch.
