Zebra.....

..... snails.

This afternoon I've had a trip out to Bradford for a change of scenery. I had a look around a few of the galleries including the photography gallery just off city square. The more I get to know about photography the more I realise just how good so many blippers photographs are, many of the blips I see on here on a daily basis could easily grace the walls of that or any other gallery.

I had a late lunch / early tea in one of the Chinese restaurants ( I really should have gone for an Indian being in Bradford ), the food was lovely but before leaving I went to use the loo, it was only on the way out of the toilet that I noticed the sign saying 'CCTV cameras are in operation in this toilet' and then noticed the little dome camera on the ceiling pointing at the urinals. I've no idea why a restaurant would need cctv in the toilet and especially not pointing at the urinals. I'm not too worried that the staff saw anyting as the camera didnt look to have a macro lense on it.

After a wander around a few of the shops ( most of which seem to be pound shops ) I caught the train back to Ilkley and was met by Mrluc at the train station who was trying to blip me getting off the train, it seems to be a day of people pointing cameras at me unnecessarily. Although I took a few photos in Bradford, none of them were really blip worthy.

Being blipless I have had to resort to an emergency subject. I have had a soak in the bath but ( unlike the staff of the Chinese restaurant ) you don't want to see photos of that, so here are two of the aquatic Zebra snails in my main fish tank eating the alge that grows on the inside of the tank's glass. Their buck teeth always make me smile when I see them and when it's quiet at night I can sometimes hear their teeth rasping away at the glass as they graze.
