Easter Monday

Not that you can read it but the sign in the window states the discounts available for the Easter Eggs. As child my granny and my father helped me and my brother dye and decorate hard boiled eggs. We used melted candle wax to create patterns. We would then roll them down a hill on Easter Sunday. My memories of this are very happy - with little if any insight into the tradition or any religious meaning. I do remember laughter and my fingers covered in dye - a mix of pinks and blues.
