scrubbed mission

I always carry my phone with me on our morning walks, in case we have an emergency. I am grateful that we have yet to have a need to use it. But this morning my phone rang...right in the middle of a great photo op. And then, against all odds, it rang again!! And the second call was just a solicitor.
So here is the lone photo I got at the end of our walk. It's a scrub jay.
