stuffing

What Rosie here is holding in her mouth is one of the poor stuffed animals she gets her teeth into. Normally she gets toys that are made of reasonably tough stuff, but if there's a squeaker... all bets are off. She'll sit down and rip off eyes, noses, limbs from these things to get the stuffing and squeaker out. Once the stuffing is all over the floor, she'll roll around on it, wagging her tail and looking generally contented. The empty husks she carries around for a couple months, playing with them, tearing them up more until they are little more than damp squares of cloth.
