Kookaburra in the old Gum tree.

My next door neighbour was feeding three Kooka's on his deck this afternoon. They are regular visitors, and one of them was actually perched on his hand whilst being fed. Apparently he/she "knocks" on the screen door if my neighbour isn't around at feeding time!! I was gardening whilst all this was happening, but when I returned with my camera the bird had flown off, and I had to console myself with this shot!!
