What a great time to be passing through Arthur's Pass on our way home from our Tasman holiday...

In the extra's you'll see one of the local West Coast locals photobombing my shot of an old Davidson logging locomotive,. This Hokitika-built locomotive, 25 of 26 ever built,  stands as a memorial to the old bush logging railway, on the old sidings by Highway 7 near Ngahere. You have to love weka - they are such a curious bird!!
