Martindale

The week at LPH finished after breakfast this morning after breakfast, so I took the opportunity to have a visit to Martindale. I've been wanting to visit there for a while after seeing the wonderful blips of if by Joe over the last couple of months.

Bit of a stiff climb up, but well worth it. The views down the valleys and along Ullswater were amazing. Very lucky with the weather too. Turned out to be bright and sunny, with enough cloud to make things interesting. Perfect conditions really... :-)

A run down the motorway to spend the night with my brother and his family this evening. A chance to read bedtime stories.
