Famous for this abbey and sticky toffee pudding. Weather is a bit mixed but we are still getting out and about and enjoying our selves.

Pleased that Eric Ball's Resurgam - fantastic piece of music - made it to 190 in the classic FM hall of fame. Disgusted that they played a wind band version of it! Mind you it kept us in deep and meaningful conversation stuck in traffic between Bowness and Ambleside. Music snobbery was our conclusion.
