A little trip .....

I had to drive out to Margaree Harbor to collect a gift from a fellow artist - next weekend is the Night at the Nunnery event....my friends were donating one of their beautiful cutting boards....see here - they are such beautiful creations!   It's a glorious drive out thro some of the most majestic scenery in Cape Breton.   I was alone, Terry's family is visiting so he opted to stay home....i listened to a book on CD, stopped when i saw a photo i might like....and did my own thing!

Ended up on the beach for a little walk.   This is a beach we frequent in the summer...so to be there at this time of year is kinda weird....it was cold and windy, but strangely lovely!

I got a fabulous tour of the workshops where these beautiful boards are made...what an operation it is!

Dinner is almost ready....Happy Sunday everyone!
