Apples to come

The apple blossom is now out.

The emergency plumber was due between 8 and 12. He called about 9:30 to say that he had many jobs to do before he could get to me.

I was meant to volunteer at the Mill but I advised that I wouldn't be there. Instead I gardened all day.

I had intended to take Murphy to the Bluebell wood. We never made it.

He arrived at about 6.

But we can't get all of the water out of the pipe and hence we can't solder the new joint. So we are without hot water until he returns tomorrow.

Well that was a great way to spend Easter Sunday.
