Dris says he can help

He's feeling a bit left out at this busy time. I decided since all was quiet at our farm I would go with husband to the farm where we manage the livestock to walk the dogs on the beach there. Halfway there we were flagged down by a smallholder with a cow calving and the calf coming backwards. Another farmer had been called too and he turned up after husband had found both feet and had the calf ready to come out. They pulled the calf out and it actually was quite bright considering. We had to leave them to it after that as we needed to get on to the other farm to make sure all was ok.

The dogs loved their beach walk in the rain. I have had to hoover tonight as they brought a lot of the beach home. We managed a wee nap this afternoon between rounds. All quiet however Patience the cow is looking very close to calving. Managed to find the energy to make another batch of Mars bar Krispie cake an essential for this time of year. Also some yoghurt and tidied kitchen.
