Restored Waterwheel

Although not strictly derelict as it has been restored to some degree, this is part of 3 sites around sheffield preserved to celebrate the industrious past of sheffield.

Within the last week we have visited all 3 sites.  This one is the Shepherds wheel; a restored waterwheel.

Really interesting looking back to what was an extremely hard life. Life expectancy in these 'factories' was only about 35!
