Silly Saturday ....

... Happy Easter!

Although Simba was NOT a happy bunny during our photo shoot no kitties or bunnies were harmed for this blip!

It was another busy, busy day for Richard as he continues to work on filling in the hole left behind from the pool.  Not to mention all the other outside work.  

Late in the afternoon he was ready for a break so we headed over to Housenick Park. We love going over there as it's fairly close to our house and we love the abundant wildlife.  And today we certainly saw a lot of it .... including a new bird for us .... a Yellow-rumped Warbler, subspecies "Myrtle"!  What a beautiful little bird he was, too!  Unfortunately I was unable to get a decent shot ... maybe next time!

Among the approximate 17 different bird species we also saw a Hermit Thrush and a Brown Creeper.  And the White-throated Sparrow in my extra.
