Dog-friendly

Much of the point of this trip was to have a joint celebration of Mr L's birthday (17th) and our wedding anniversary (31st). We booked a dog-friendly lodge room at Battlesteads in Wark. This is the note that was waiting for us in our extremely luxurious accommodations.

7 course testing menu and accompanying wine flight served the purpose. 

Had our first bath since September 14t and by golly we revelled in it.
