Glandford Bird Walk...and a free bottle of wine!

It was the time of the month for our U3A bird watching walk along the Glaven river to the 'Natural Surroundings' cafe this morning.  I love the cafe, it sells mostly native wild flowers and woodland plants, bird food, bird feeders etc. and has an excellent cafe with home made cakes, all set in pretty gardens. 
The other end of the day was good too, a quiz night at the 'Recycled' Teenagers' Group in Sheringham, our team came third (happily a whole section was on British wild birds!), and then I won a bottle of wine in the raffle...which pleased M no end!
Oh...and the photo was just one of the very many buds breaking open into the beautiful warm Spring sunshine today.
