Lake Rotoroa

Exciting!  I flew to Christchurch this morning to pick up my new car.  Gorgeous views over Nelson Lakes National Park on the way, lovely, sunny weather when I arrived, a seamless meeting and hand-over of the new car (and new vacuum I'd also bought!  Good timing I htought) and I was on my way back to Nelson by lunchtime.  Great drive home although plenty of (slow!) trucks on the road.  Took a stop near the Lewis Pass for a 45 minute sleep and arrived home safe, sound and happy around tea time after five and a half  hours on the road.  A good way for my new car and I to get to know one another!
