Holy Saturday, Batman!

Look at all the people. I cycled from Viñas to Playa Paraiso this afternoon, some 50 minutes journey. The ride takes me down the hill from Viñas to Casares Bay and then along the promenade through Sabinillas and Duquesa and finally, the old familiar coastal path to home.

It was as though summer had suddenly arrived during Friday night. It has been a wonderfully hot and sunny day and everywhere was heaving with people. All the bars, restaurants and chiringuitos I passed were full of lunchers and the beach bristled with brollies, with some brave souls playing in the deep blue sea.

Later Jacqui brought me back by car and we have had dinner. She will stay tonight, so brought the Gripper C with her. He has spent the evening investicatting the flat and making himself at home.

We are a little concerned, however, as the Bulgarians next door are having a party and it may be a noisy night.
