A Saturday morning with no plans? Time for our favorite pastime: breakfast!

Rocket Baby Bakery opened up a bit ago a short walk from our house. They aren't a "donut/cake" type of bakery, but rather a "bread/pastery" type of bakery.
What they make is fantastic. Huge croissants, a fantastic "breakfast in a muffin" which has bacon, chives, egg, cheese, all in a muffiny/bready handful of awesome, scones and monkey bread, just to name a few of the delights.

We took a walk over to the bakery to pick up a little bit of everything and headed home, but not after my girl snapped her Blip of the shop's door (and I caught her taking that picture). I happened to notice some amusing vandalism on a public garbage can.

We had some movies rented, so we made ourselves comfy and tucked into the food. Perfect start to the day!
