Sakkara Country Club

Decided to have a day by a pool with having to cancel our trip to Alexandria over this weekend. I'd heard about this place from colleagues, who liked it because although just a 30 min drive from where we are in Cairo, it feels further. If you look beyond the pool you can see the dessert. Very interesting drive to arrive here too, passing lots of tuk tuks, goats, sheep, buffalos, camels and even ostrich. It was difficult to get any decent snaps from the car, but I'll try to add a couple of extras. Very nice relaxing day, just what the doctor ordered and I think we'll go back.
