Clouds over Crummock Water

What a beautiful day. It started out drab and damp, and ended up with glorious sunshine and lots of puffy clouds. The wind was fierce and cold so that Easter visitors to the Lake District had to huddle behind wind-breaks for their picnics. One sheltered spot is behind Low Ling Crag at the tip of the shingle spit, seen here opposite Rannerdale Knotts.
