Cat launch pad

This is the way the cat gets out, onto a specially fitted shelf, then via the roof on next door's extension. I didn't want a cat flap in our one main room.

He often just sits on the shelf surveying his kingdom. I was hoping to get a shot of him doing just that, but I see it had rained.
