An easy job.
There was a chilly wind a-blowin' today, but we decided to walk down to the town for a leg-stretcher, going down via Taylor's Brae and Star Brae and coming back via Nursery Lane and Ardconnel Road. In between we fitted in a tour of the charity shops. What rather spoiled my walk was yet another tree-felling job on the slope behind the old Free High Church - that's three new felling or hacking jobs within a half-mile of each other in less than a week. How long before Oban is bare?
On a more humorous note, walking down Rockfield Road we were passed by a van which I had seen parked in a drive elsewhere in the town and had long wanted to photograph. This was an opportunity too good to miss!
I've often wondered if there was any job easier than Jam Drilling, and concluded that Biscuit Mining must be up there along with Ice Melting and Paint Drying!
