Down in Girvan to visit a local market and pop up restaurant that's part of the regeneration effort in the town.

Had a great chat with Digger, one of the stallholders who had one of those life stories that really needed to be told over an evening, next to a fire, with a dram.

A high country logger to trade, he's worked the big ships, trained young people in sailing, emigrated to Australia, come back home to Scotland, started a folk festival.

The badges round his hat show the miles he's travelled: Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand.
