What a sight to wake up to!

A friend and I have driven up to Picton today. There weren't any road crews working on the roads today, so very little disruption over the Lewis Pass road.

Tomorrow we'll be meeting up with some of our Whanganui River trip team and heading over Cook Strait. D. is hoping like mad for a calm crossing! Fingers crossed for him. I'm one of the lucky ones who never gets sea sick - not yet anyway.
