A very small boy

called today for a few hours. The boy is distinctly unwell and has partially lost his voice and his lively enthusiasm. He fell asleep on my lap for about 20 minutes & then another 50 minutes on C's lap.

His Mum & Dad had gone down to the town for a while before calling back for him. They stayed an hour or so before departing then I went in the garden to do a couple more little jobs. I didn't stay out there long as my back was playing me up...it seems to be the result of my backward somersault....

Fine sunny but chilly then rain tonight
