Knitting Circle

She watched her sisters knitting and French knitting, then the five year old was shown how to finger knit and she was away. She was delighted in the joy of gaining a skill and in finding her sisters were genuinely impressed.

That bit of knitting (the snake) is now almost as long as the room . . . and she wants to carry on in the morning!
