Film set

went to Halton today where the cadet marching band were performing at the end of their music camp. Afterwards thought we'd pop in to the mess at Halton House for  some coffee and relaxation with the papers prior to heading home. The whole place was however taken over by a film crew and cast. I'm sure they had coffee, as well as canapés and champagne but none for us :( . Instead took some sneaky photos looking down on the set from a floor above.  Was told they were filming 'Stan and Ollie' about Laurel and Hardy in the 50's and the lounge was supposed to be the 'Lyceum Theatre'.   Will have to see it now once its out next year.
