Gough's Caves and Solomon's

Today Stuart and I went to Gough's caves at Cheddar Gorge, I can recommend this for a days outing. Though a tad expensive at £19.95 each but we managed a couple of quid off with a voucher.

This cave was dug out by hand by Richard Gough back in the turn of the last century and took him and his two son's eight years to complete the excavation, but it made his fortune, but the landed gentry managed to take a profit too.
