Knockbain School

An unsettled and early start after Nelly had a sore tummy at 6am.
We offered to take the girls to the Highland Wildlife Park but they opted for the Highland Folk Museum instead, which has the added bonus of being free.
Nelly was entranced by the old school and loved doing handwriting with real ink- we visited twice to see 'Miss Bruce'.  She also really liked having a nosey around all the old buildings and "going back in time" as she called it.  She's fair trickit with the slate she got in the gift shop too.
