book:  reading Fell by Jenn Ashworth for Dorothy Cook's online book club. an intriguing & brilliantly written first chapter, so off to a good start.
cooking:  emergency rations of pasta with a bacon arrabbiata sauce of my own devising. the baked celeriac will have to wait for tomorrow....it's been lurking for so long, one more day shouldn't matter....?
