Technology Span

Open up the top drawer of this industrial designer's desk and you will find one hundred years of technology.

From a digital camera, a tangle of download cables and an ipod - to my Grandmother's dressmaking scissors. Dad was born in 1925 and she would have had them by then I think. Not too hard to stretch a hundred years out of the story.

I like scissors and coloured pencils; they don't crash anywhere near as often as ipods.

Notice the other mainstay of my working life. Cewing gum, boarding passes and Panadol. Hmmm.
