Spent today driving past Malaika on the way to the hardware store for "bits". A colony of ants had decided that the water pump motor was an excellent place to set up camp.

D and I decided that since the pump was in bits we may as well rebuild the whole system. New, properly sized suction pipework will make a world of difference.

It did, too. Eventually.
